Eileen is a wonderful host with a warm welcome and delicious homemade breakfast. The bathroom was along the hallway outside our room, which was a bit inconvenient.

Farmstead Lodge is a true gem! Eileen's welcoming nature instantly made us feel at home. Breakfast was exceptional, with a great selection that fueled our country walks. Plus, the stunning views of the Irish countryside were unforgettable.

While the cozy nature of the lodge was appealing, the layout was a bit unusual, with bathrooms located down the hallway which could be inconvenient at times.

Solo traveler’s restful retreat

I got to meet Eileen, the host, who was just fantastic. She really went out of her way to, and her breakfast selections were seriously amazing! Plus, I had Gypsy the dog follow me to my car when I was leaving.
